The Intimacy of Creativity (IC), the internationally-acclaimed, annual two-week Partnership devoted to promoting an intimate dialogue between performers and emerging composers aged 25-35 hosted by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), returns to Hong Kong 22 April – 5 May, 2013 for its exciting third season. Artistic Director and internationally-renowned composer, conductor, and pianist, Bright Sheng, will be joined by Distinguished Guest Artist/Composer and 2002 MacArthur “Genius” Award-winning double-bassist, Edgar Meyer; Distinguished Guest Artist and Gramophone’s Record of the Year-winning violinist, Cho-Liang Lin, Artistic Director of the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival; along with other Distinguished Guests and Guest Artists.
