The Yogyakarta Contemporary Music Festival is seeking scores and musical works that fulfill the following conditions:
1. Duration not more than 10 minutes
2. SOLO, DUO or TRIO
3. from the following
a. Strings: violin, viola, cello, double bass
b. Wood winds: piccolo, flute, alto flute, oboe, clarinet in Bb, bass clarinet, bassoon.
c. Brass: horn in F, trumpet in Bb, trombone
d. Percussion: Marimba, xylophone, vibraphone.
e. Piano, guitar
f. Vocals: Soprano
g. Javanese and Chinese instruments: Gender, rebab, siter, saron, vocals, kendang, suling, erhu.
Scores and instrumental parts have to be written in Sibelius, and formatted in PDF. They should be mailed to ycmf@live.com along with a short bio, photograph and program notes.
Electroacoustic Music
Duration has to be not more than 10 minutes. Work must be for sound only or sound and video. In both cases, the work should be a composition without live performance. The video work should be submitted on DVD that is playable on a PC.
