Philip Neill Memorial Prize in Music

Closing Date: 1 July

The Prize is awarded annually for excellence in original composition and is valued at $1500.

The competition is open to all past and present students of the universities of New Zealand

The topic for 2016 is to compose a piece for cello and piano OR cello solo OR cello and electronics. You must submit a score as well as a MIDI recording of the work.

The work must be at least eight minutes and not more than eighteen minutes in duration.
