The University of Waikato Conservatorium of Music, in conjunction with The Harp Society of New Zealand, is pleased to announce acompetition for a new composition for harp. The winning composition will be performed as part of New Zealand’s contribution to the World Harp Congress to be held in Sydney in July 2014. http://whcsydney2014.com. A first prize of NZ$1000 will awarded to the winning entry by the Harp Society of New Zealand. Two merit prizes may also be awarded. Award winning entries will be performed at the University of Waikato in 2014 prior to the World Harp Congress.
